Once the client had made a choice of their preferred logo, the design team looked at colourways and alternative type treatments. Again, the process of printing and presentation was gone through, and finally the colours were chosen.
In this case, it was decided, partly for reasons of cost, to drop from CMYK production to two colours. Modern DTP software is capable of providing mixes between two spot colours, which gives the impression of more colours than actually used.
